Privacy Policy

Summary

• This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and includes no tracking or advertising.
• The only personal data it receives is what you type into the contact form.
• A few interface preferences (theme, sound, filters) are stored in your browser's local storage — only if you allow them — and never leave your device.

Information the contact form collects

If you send a message through the contact form, I receive: your name, your work email address, the hiring interest you select, and the optional note you write. This information is used only to read and respond to your message. Submitting the form is your consent to this use; if you prefer not to share it, use the email address above directly instead.

How form data is processed

The form submits to this site's own endpoint (a Netlify serverless function) and is delivered by email through Resend to my mailbox. Processors involved: Netlify (hosting and function execution) and Resend (email delivery). Messages are kept in my mailbox for as long as our correspondence requires, then deleted.

Browser preference storage

The site can store four values in your browser's local storage: your theme choice (light or dark), interface sound on or off, your selected work filter, and your consent choice itself. These values never leave your browser, are not readable by other sites, and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings. Preference values are written only after you choose "Allow preferences"; if you choose "Essential only", only the consent record itself is stored, so the site remembers your choice.

Third-party content and links

Some project videos are streamed from Cloudinary; like any CDN, its servers see the IP address used to request the video. The site also links to third-party services (for example Google Appointments, GitHub, LinkedIn). Once you follow a link, the destination's own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173), and — for visitors located in the EU or EEA — under the GDPR-equivalent principles this site voluntarily follows, you may request access to the personal data I hold about you, ask for corrections, ask for deletion, withdraw consent, and ask for a copy of your data. To exercise any of these, email contact.shaheenaladwani@gmail.com; I will respond within 30 days. Philippine residents may also raise concerns with the National Privacy Commission; EU residents with their local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children. Personal data should not be submitted by anyone under 13, or under a higher age where local law requires.

International transfers

Netlify and Resend may process data outside the Philippines. Where personal data is transferred, appropriate safeguards apply, consistent with this policy.

Changes

This policy may be updated; the effective date above will change when it does. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
